1. Data Controller
The data controller of personal data is Sparta Greek Food, with offices in Via Leone IV 62 — 00192 Rome and Via Massaciuccoli 111–113 — 00199 Rome.
For any request related to privacy, you can contact us by phone or in person at our locations.
2. Data Collected
This website does not collect personal data of users directly, except for the job application form on the "Careers" page (see section 5). There are no other registration forms, restricted areas, or newsletter systems.
The data that might be processed indirectly are:
- Navigation data — IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, duration of visit. This data is collected automatically by the servers and used exclusively for anonymous statistical purposes.
- Technical cookies — necessary for the correct functioning of the site. For more details, consult our Cookie Policy.
3. Purposes and Legal Basis of Processing
Navigation data is processed for the following purposes:
- Ensure the correct functioning and security of the site (legitimate interest, art. 6 let. f GDPR).
- Process anonymous statistics on site usage (legitimate interest, art. 6 let. f GDPR).
4. Data Retention
Navigation data is kept for the time strictly necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, and in any case no longer than 12 months.
5. Job Applications
Through the "Careers" form, we directly collect: full name, email address, curriculum vitae (CV), and an optional cover message. The CV may contain further personal data voluntarily provided by the candidate (e.g. work experience, education, photo).
Purpose: evaluation of the application for potential job opportunities at our locations.
Legal basis: explicit consent of the data subject (art. 6, par. 1, let. a GDPR), expressed through mandatory acceptance of this policy when submitting the form.
Retention: application data is kept for a maximum of 12 months from submission, unless the candidate is hired or requests earlier deletion.
Third parties: for the technical delivery of the email containing the application, we use the Resend service, which acts as a data processor limited to transmitting the message.
Candidates may at any time request access, correction, or deletion of their application data by contacting us at our locations (see section 7).
6. Communication and Dissemination
Data is not transferred, sold, or communicated to third parties, except for:
- Hosting and technical infrastructure providers of the site, who act as data processors.
- The Resend service, for sending job applications (see section 5).
- Competent authorities, where required by law.
7. Rights of the Data Subject
Pursuant to articles 15–22 of EU Regulation 2016/679, the user has the right to:
- Access their personal data.
- Request the correction or deletion of data.
- Oppose the processing or request its limitation.
- Request data portability.
- Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

8. Links to Third-Party Sites
The site contains links to external platforms (Glovo, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Google Maps). Sparta Greek Food is not responsible for the processing of data carried out by these platforms. We recommend consulting their respective privacy policies.
9. Changes to this Policy
Sparta Greek Food reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be published on this page with indications of the update date.
